District Visit Montmartre

Every thursday, the CIJP organizes visits for its members to a different district of Paris. Montmartre offers an elegant mix of style with various architectures and artists and typical cafés which impress foreigners who came to “stroll” in Paris. Home to the infamous Sacre Coeur, Montmartre is quite the experience and makes visitors fall in love with Paris. Report

Language Practice French-English Language Workshops

Every Tuesday, the International Club organizes French-English language exchange workshops. They are a great way for members to practice their speaking skills in a friendly environment. Special District Visit Scavenger Hunt at the Louvre

CIJP members enjoyed an interesting way to discover and explore the district of the Louvre. On a Saturday morning in March, participants explored the area around the Louvre in order to find the answers to the scavenger hunt with their teams and discovered its history and grandeur of the district along the way. Meet new people Friendship Cafe

Once a month, International Club members gather over coffee to meet new members and share memories from past events and discuss upcoming activities. One Wednesday evening, a get together was planned at the tearoom of the Mosque of Paris. Participants had fun in the interesting decor of the Mosque and made new friends. Report

William Castillo, a Mexican student and member of the International Club

William came to Paris from Mexico to study sociology and comparitive politics. Particularly interesting to him is the liberal view of Parisians and the culture in the city. He made new friends through an excursion to Giverny planned by the club and tells us about his experience. Meet William

Franco-American Debate at Columbia University in Paris

In partnership with Columbia University in Paris, the CIJP organized a friendly debate between American and French students over the differences in university educations in the two countries. Participants take each other's remarks and rebuttals and try to answer clearly and persuasively in front of the attentive public. Drop in on this friendly debate.
